Super Bowl Preview: Underdog Birds have a chance

The stage has been set for Super Bowl LII. The New England Patriots, which seems to happen yearly at this point, will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis. This game is a Super Bowl XXXIX rematch which Eagles fans have haunting memories from as the Patriots went on to win 24-21. That game was the last time the Eagles have played for the Lombardi Trophy until now.
Local die hard Eagles fan Adam Somers doesn’t remember the Eagles last Super Bowl very well but he does remember the last time the Eagles and Patriots faced off. “Last year when the Eagles went into to Foxborough they blew out the Patriots. It will be an easy win for the Eagles.”
After Carson Wentz tore his ACL and was sidelined for the season every news network and football fan thought their season was complete. However after a 38-7 win against the stout Minnesota Vikings defense they seem to be better than ever. However 5 time Super Bowl Champ Tom Brady has returned to the Super Bowl for the 8th time in his career. The 40 year old quarterback has shown no signs of slowing down after coming back down in the 4th quarter to defeat the up and coming Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20.
Will the “underdog” Eagles dethrone the Patriots dynasty? Or will the Patriots get their sixth Super Bowl to tie the Pittsburgh Steelers for most in NFL history? We’ll just have to wait and see on Feb. 4.
